§ LORD FREDERICK CAVENDISHSir, the Treasury decision upon the Memorial of the third-class clerks in the Sasine Office was communicated to the head of their Department on the 19th of July last. The decision was that the requests of the Memorialists could not be complied with. The Treasury Letter was laid on the Table of the House on the 8th of August last, on the Motion of the right hon. Member for South-West Lancaster (Sir R. Assheton Cross).
