HC Deb 13 June 1882 vol 270 cc979-80
MR. MOORE

asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether any steps have been taken to inquire into the emigrant traffic from the Scandinavian Ports; and, whether he can lay any Papers or Reports on the subject upon the Table?

MR. CHAMBERLAIN,

in reply, said, that an inquiry had been ordered as to the conveyance of emigrants from the Scandinavian ports. The Report had been received, and as soon as it had been considered there would be no objection to lay it on the Table?
