Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the" Order for the Second Reading be deferred until to-morrow."—(Mr. Mundella.)

MR. DICK-PEDDIE

asked whether it was intended to take the measure at the Morning Sitting on Saturday, if there was to be such a Sitting?

MR. MUNDELLA

said, the Order for Second Reading was about to be postponed until to-morrow, with the idea of then fixing the day for the second reading.

MR. BUCHANAN

asked whether it was understood that the Bill was to be taken on Saturday?

MR. MUNDELLA

said, it would be taken on Saturday.

Motion agreed to.
