HC Deb 10 July 1882 vol 271 cc1949-50
MR. BIGGAR

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether or not the time has now arrived when Patrick Kavanagh, now a suspect in Enniskillen Gaol, might be released, seeing that Killinkere parish, county Cavan, from which he was taken prisoner, is perfectly peaceable?

MR. TREVELYAN

His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant had Patrick Ka- vanagh's case under consideration on the 19th of June, and decided that he could not order his release.
