§ Resolved, That it is expedient to authorise the purchase and maintenance, by the Commissioners of Works, out of moneys to be provided by Parliament, of Ancient Monuments, and the remuneration of any person appointed to inspect. 1327 Ancient Monuments, under the provisions of any Act of the present Session for the better protection of Ancient Monuments.
