asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Whether the inquiry into the charges brought against Constable Molloy, of Fahy Police Station, has yet concluded; and, if so, with what result?

, in reply, said, the inquiry had concluded. It was conducted by officers and others wholly unconnected with any previous inquiry, and the result of the investigation was the acquittal of the accused.
