asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether General Newdigate's Medal Roll has been received at the War Office; and, when the medals for service in the Native Contingent in South Africa are likely to be distributed to those entitled to them?

My answer, Sir, to the first Question is "Yes." My answer to the second is that it is a matter which concerns the Colonial Office; but, to save time, I have ascertained that the engraving of the medals was finished yesterday, and that they will be sent out at once
