HC Deb 07 March 1881 vol 259 c432
MR. FIRTH

called the attention of the President of the Local Government Board to the decision in the case of "Hills v. The Metropolitan Asylum Boards," given that day in the House of Lords, and asked whether it would have any effect on his decision with reference to the extension of the Fulham Small-Pox Hospital?

MR. DODSON

In face of the epidemic prevailing in the Metropolis, the Question is clearly one not to be hastily answered. I know nothing of the nature of the judgment referred to, except from general report; and I must have an opportunity of seeing and considering that judgment before coming to any conclusion as to what steps, if any, I ought to take.
