HC Deb 12 March 1880 vol 251 cc915-6
SIR CHARLES W. DILKE

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether the Commission on the Græco-Turkish frontier question proposed by Her Majesty's Government will be composed of representatives of the Powers Signatories of the Berlin Treaty only; and, whether it is thereby intended to admit Turkey and exclude Greece from representation on that Commission?

MR. BOURKE

Sir, the hon. Baronet is, I am sure, aware that this proposed Commission arises out of the Protocol, and that it will, therefore, be composed of Representatives of the mediatory Powers. I will answer the last part of the Question in the negative.
