HC Deb 21 June 1880 vol 253 c435
SIR JOHN HOLKER

asked the First Commissioner of Works, Whether any plans for ventilating and warming the new Law Courts have as yet been definitely adopted; and, if so, whether he would give orders that such plans be placed in the Library of the House for the inspection of those Members who may wish to see them?

MR. ADAM

Sir, plans for the ventilation and warming of the new Law Courts have been adopted. These plans can be seen at the architect's office. They are very voluminous, and there is only one copy. Tenders are now being invited for carrying out the work, and, pending the acceptance of any of these tenders, it would be manifestly inconvenient that copies of the plans should be placed in the Library for general inspection.
