HC Deb 27 February 1880 vol 250 cc1565-6
SIR DAVID WEDDERBURN

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce during this Session a Game Laws Amendment Bill, similar to that which was introduced by the Lord Advocate during last Session, and which passed through all stages in this House except the final one?

MR. ASSHETON CROSS

No, Sir. It is not the intention of the Govern- ment to re-introduce that Bill; but it is the intention of the Lord Advocate to introduce a much larger measure, dealing with the whole subject, which will be applicable to Scotland.
