asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, If he will lay upon the Table a Copy of the Slave Trade Treaty signed by Turkey?

MR. BOURKE,

in reply, said, that the Convention in question had been signed, but had not yet been ratified. As soon as the ratifications had been exchanged the document would be laid upon the Table.

MR. W. E. FORSTER

inquired when it might be expected that the ratifications would be exchanged?

MR. BOURKE

replied, that the necessary formalities would be completed very soon.
