MR. DILLWYN

moved the discharge of the Order for resuming the debate upon the Prerogative of the Crown. He explained that he did so, in the first place, because he did not see any opportunity of bringing the debate on; secondly, because the House was in possession of much more information now than it was when he brought the question forward; and, thirdly, because of the change that had been made in the command of the troops at the Cape.

Motion agreed to.
