HC Deb 08 August 1878 vol 242 c1532
SIR WILLIAM HARCOURT

asked Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether, seeing that the Exchequer Bills and Bonds (No. 2) Bill had been put down very low on the Paper for that night, he would take steps so that in future stages of the Bill it would come on at a time when there would be a full opportunity of discussing the questions connected with it?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER,

in reply, said, he would endeavour to do so.
