§ MR. RITCHIEasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether Her Majesty's Government propose to bring in, this Session, a Bill to confirm the scheme of the Epping Forest Commissioners; and, if so, when it was likely to be introduced?
MR. ASSHETON CROSS,in reply, said, that a scheme with respect to Epping Forest had been for some few days before the Government. The evidence on which it was based, however, and which was very voluminous, had not yet been printed; and he had had no opportunity of seeing it. As soon as he had done so, he would consult with the First Commissioner of Works, and state the course which the Government proposed to take in the matter.
