HC Deb 15 February 1877 vol 232 cc379-80
SIR EDWARD COLEBROKE

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, Whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce any Bill in the present Session with reference to existing Educational Endowments in Scotland?

MR. ASSHETON CROSS

, in reply, said, he quite admitted the importance of the subject, which had had the attention of the Government and of the Lord Advocate a long time; and although a Bill might not be introduced in the present Session, it was certainly a matter that could not be put off.
