Mr. Speaker, I beg to give Notice that I shall, on Monday, ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether the Government have received official intelligence of the outbreak of hostilities between Russia and Turkey; and whether it is the intention of the Government to issue a Proclamation of Neutrality?

Friend the Member for Greenwich (Mr. Gladstone), who is absent from indisposition, I beg to give Notice that it is his intention to move Resolutions on the Eastern Question and the prospective policy of the British Government. The terms of the Resolutions will be given by the right hon. Gentleman on Monday.
