HC Deb 31 March 1876 vol 228 c1038
THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

Mr. Speaker, although the hour is late, I think it may be well, before the House breaks up, that I should mention a communication which has within the last hour or so been received by the Government from Egypt. It is a request from the Khedive that Mr. Cave's Report upon the financial condition of Egypt should forthwith be presented, and, of course, without reservation. The Report, therefore, will be laid upon the Table of the House at once.
