HC Deb 10 July 1876 vol 230 c1169
MR. CHILDERS

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, When the results of the observations of the Transit of Venus may be expected to be made public?

MR. HUNT,

in reply, said, he was told that the results could not be made public for six months, or, perhaps, a longer period. Of course, he should be glad to make the results public as soon as they had been ascertained.
