HC Deb 27 April 1876 vol 228 c1758
MR. COWEN (for Mr. J. W. BARCLAY)

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether he will lay upon the Table of the House a Copy of the Correspondence between Her Majesty's Government and the Khedive of Egypt in regard to the appointment of a Commissioner on the foundation of a National Bank in Egypt, or as Receiver of part of the revenues of Egypt?

MR. DISRAELI

Mr. Speaker, generally speaking, all the Papers connected with Egyptian affairs will be laid upon the Table of the House; but it will not be convenient to lay them on the Table immediately.
