GATHORNE HARDYSir, it is under consideration to make allowance in the nature of repairs or a moderate rent, or both, for the buildings referred to, so long as they continue to be used for the same purpose. No provision was made for such an allowance under the Military Forces Localization Loan, and I am advised that the counties have no legal claim until a reasonable time has elapsed for supplying other storehouses.
