, in moving that the Bill be now read a second time, said, that it was found necessary to make certain alterations in the Registry of Deeds Office last year, and the object of the present Bill was to repeal a provision which required that any alteration in the remuneration of the officers of that office should not take effect until after the end of the Session of Parliament in which such alteration was made.
