HC Deb 12 May 1874 vol 219 cc174-5
MR. SEELY

asked the Postmaster General, Whether, since the last Session of Parliament, any proposal has been made by the United States Government to issue Postal Cards at 1d.; and, if so, whether he will lay upon the Table of the House any information which the Post Office has relating to this proposal?

LORD JOHN MANNERS

, in reply, said, he could only give the hon. Member the same answer as he had given him 10 days ago, that no such proposals had been received from the United States Government since the last Session. He was, therefore, unable to lay any Papers relative to the subject on the Table of the House.
