HC Deb 30 June 1874 vol 220 cc696-7
MR. GOLDNEY (for Mr. GREGORY)

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, "Whether his attention has been called to the loss sustained by infants entitled to the benefit of small sums in the Court of Chancery by the operation of the Chancery Funds Act and the orders made under the same; and, when any new orders will be had upon the Table of the House?

MR. W. H. SMITH

All objections, Sir, to the new Rules issued in 1873 have been carefully considered, and a draft set of amended and consolidated Rules have been prepared and approved by the Lord Chancellor. They are at present under the consideration of the Treasury, and there is every reason to hope they will be issued shortly, and will go far to meet the difficulty referred to by the hon. Member.
