HC Deb 24 April 1874 vol 218 cc1097-8
MR. MOORE

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland. Whether it is the intention of the Government to bring in any measure relating to University Education in Ireland during the present Session?

SIR MICHAEL HICKS-BEACH

, in reply, said, that, remembering the history of the University Education (Ireland) Bill of last Session, he thought the House would hardly expect the Government would in the present Session be prepared to deal with the subject of University Education in Ireland.
