§ VISCOUNT ENFIELDsaid, in reply, that he had made inquiries both at the Admiralty and the Foreign Office, and he could not find that any confirmation had been received by either of the report that Her Majesty's ship Rosario had shelled and destroyed the village in the Island of Nukapu in which resided the natives who had murdered Bishop Patteson.
