THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTONsaid, in reply, that looking to the state of the Business before the House, and the difficulty which had been felt in making progress with any minor measures up to the present time, he did not think it would be desirable to ask the House at present to consider any fresh question. If, however, he found that progress was made with the Bills which had already been introduced, he should be prepared to introduce a measure relating to the subject of the hon. and learned Member's Question. He would take another opportunity later in the Session of informing the hon. and learned Member as to the intentions of the Government.
