HC Deb 31 March 1870 vol 200 c999
MR. HIBBERT

said, he would beg to ask, When the Government propose to proceed with the Licensing Bill?

MR. GLADSTONE

said, that he had not mentioned the Licensing Bill by name; but he had referred to a group of Bills containing those that were named in the Queen's Speech. All he could say was that the Government would do their best with respect to them; but until the other business was further advanced he could not fix a time for them.
