HC Deb 28 March 1870 vol 200 cc721-2
MR. KAYANAGH

said, he wished to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland, Whether he intends to move for the Select Committee on Union Eating before Easter; if not, whether he can say how soon after Easter he will make that Motion?

MR. CHICHESTER FORTESCUE

said, in reply, that it was not his intention to move the appointment of the Committee on this subject till after Easter; indeed, the appointment would depend upon the progress of the Irish Land Bill, for it would not be moved I till that measure had passed through Committee.
