HC Deb 21 March 1870 vol 200 c326
COLONEL LESLIE

said, he wished to correct a mistake into which he had fallen the other evening in seconding the Motion of his noble Friend (Viscount Crichton). He stated, and at the time sincerely believed the statement to be accurate, that Mr. Little, the sub-Sheriff of Monaghan, was au Orangeman. Since then he had received a letter from Mr. Little, who denied that he was an Orangeman, or over had been one. He therefore took the earliest opportunity of correcting the statement he had made.
