HC Deb 12 April 1870 vol 200 c1703
MR. STUART PARKER

said, he wished to ask the Lord Advocate, Whether he intends, as soon as the state of Public Business permits, to bring in a Road and Bridges Bill for Scotland, such as that which was introduced by the late Lord Advocate last year?

THE LORD ADVOCATE

, in reply, said, he was afraid there was no probability whatever that the state of Public Business would permit of the introduction of such a Bill during the present Session; but he hoped and believed it would be in his power next Session to introduce a measure on the subject.
