HC Deb 30 April 1867 vol 186 cc1784-5
COLONEL FRENCH

said, he wished to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, Why the Report of the Public Works Commissioners for the last year has not been laid upon the table of the House?

MR. HUNT

replied, that the accounts which were embodied in the Report of the Commissioners were now made up to the end of the financial year, and it was obviously impossible that the Report could be laid on the table so early as the present moment; but he hoped it would be ready in the course of a few days.
