THE ATTORNEY GENERALsaid, he hoped the House would consent to read the Bill a second time that night, and take the debate on going into Committee. That was the course which he found was approved by many hon. Members with whom he had spoken on the subject. It would enable them fully to debate the subject, and at the same time expedite the passing of the measure.
