House informed, that the Committee had determined,— That Sir Edmund Henry Knowles Lacon, baronet, is duly elected a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Great Yarmouth That James Goodson, esquire, is duly elected a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Great Yarmouth. And the said Determinations were ordered to be entered in the Journals of this House. House further informed of Resolutions agreed to, by the Committee reporting that certain parties had received several sums of money as bribes, and that it was not proved to the Committee that any of the aforesaid acts of bribery were committed with the knowledge, authority, or consent of the said Sir Edmund H. K. Lacon and James Goodson, esquire, or either of them, or of any of their Agents: That the Committee have reason to believe that corrupt practices have extensively prevailed at the last election for the Borough of Great Yarmouth.
