HC Deb 12 March 1866 vol 182 c18
SIR JAMES FERGUSSON

said, he would beg to ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Whether Electoral Statistics, similar to those laid on the table on Saturday for England, are in course of preparation for the rest of the United Kingdom; and, if so, when they will be ready?

THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER

said, in reply, that directions had been given for the preparation of similar Electoral Returns for Scotland as had been furnished for England. He could not name the precise day when they would be ready, but ample time would be given for their consideration.
