§ MR. MILNER GIBSONsaid, in reply, that the machinery employed was this. A schedule was drawn up by the Board of Trade, it was sent through the Post Office to the owners of live stock, and certain officers of the Inland Revenue then made up the aggregate Returns. The Vote to which the hon. Gentleman referred would be applicable to the collection of those statistics.
