§ MR. H. BAILLIEsaid, he wished to ask the Under Secretary of State for War, Whether the Special Committee upon Armstrong and Whitworth Guns has made any Report in reference to the 12-pounders; and, if so, whether, he has any objection to lay it upon the table of the House?
THE MARQUESS OF HARTINGTONsaid, in reply, that the first part of the 49 Report of the Special Committee, which related chiefly to the 12-pounders, had been received, and the remaining portion would be shortly in their possession. As soon as the whole of the Report bad been received he would lay it upon the table of the House; but in its present incomplete state he must decline to do so.
