HC Deb 28 March 1865 vol 178 cc455-6

Order for Committee read.

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

said, that he objected to the discussion of the clauses being taken at that late hour. Several of the clauses contained principles of the utmost importance, and, in his opinion, full of danger to those who might be invited to lend money upon the security offered. He would feel it his duty to propose Amendments when the proper opportunity for doing so presented itself.

Bill considered in Committee.

House resumed.

Committee report Progress; to sit again on Friday.
