in reply, said, the competition between the Armstrong and Whitworth guns was allowed to be carried on entirely according to arrangements made between the parties concerned. Since the Question had been put on the paper, he understood that the experiment to which the hon. Gentleman referred was about to take place, and that a day had been fixed for the purpose.
