HC Deb 23 February 1864 vol 173 cc932-3
COLONEL DICKSON

said, he wished to ask Mr. Attorney General for Ireland, Whether it is the intention of the Government to bring in a Bill this Session to substitute stamps for money payments in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, as recommended in the Report of the Law and Equity Commissioners?

MR. O'HAGAN

said, in reply, that a Bill to carry out the general recommendations of the English and Irish Law Commission was under the consideration of the Government, and the future payment of fees by stamps, and not in money, would probably be provided for in that measure.
