BUTTsaid, he wished to ask Mr. Attorney General for Ireland, Whether it is his intention to bring in a Bill, during this Session, to validate the Registries of any Deeds in Ireland which may be invalid from technical defects, in accordance with the provisions contained in the Registration Bill which has been withdrawn?
§ MR. O'HAGANsaid, the provisions to which the hon. and learned Gentleman referred constituted only a portion of a larger measure which was meant to go beyond the correction of the errors of the past. He did not think it would be judicious to introduce a Bill to validate the Registries of Deeds, as suggested, save in connection with that larger scheme, especially as he hoped to be able to deal with the question next Session.
