§ MR. H. B. SHERIDANsaid, he could inform the hon. Member that he had already placed upon the Paper notice that it was his intention to ask for permission, on Tuesday, the 10th March, to bring in a Bill for the purpose of abolishing the fire insurance duty. The reason why he did not proceed with it last Session was, because it was thought expedient that the Chancellor of the Exchequer should have twelve months to consider seriously the Resolution of the House.
