said, he rose to ask the Secretary of State for War, Whether the Plans of the Forts proposed to be erected at Spithead have been finally determined on; and, if so, what is the estimated cost of each of those Forts; and whether it has been decided what shall be the number and calibre of the guns to be placed in each Fort, and what is the estimated cost of such armament.

said, that he should on Monday next move a Resolution with respect to Fortifications, and he would then give the information which was desired by the noble Lord.
