MR. A. MILLS

said, he wished to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether any arrangement has been agreed upon between the Governments of Great Britain and France on the subject of the Newfoundland Fisheries, and when the Re- port of the Commissioners will be laid upon the Table?

LORD JOHN RUSSELL

said, an arrangement had been come to between the Governments of England and France relating to these fisheries. The subject had engaged the attention of his noble Friend, the Secretary of State for the Colonies; but he would endeavour to ascertain for the hon. Gentleman how soon the Report of the Commissioners, and other papers connected with this question, could be produced.
