§ MR. J. D. FITZGERALDreplied that he was not able to specify the day on which his right hon. Friend the Secretary for Ireland would ask for leave to introduce this 222 Bill; but as he knew that his hon. and learned Friend felt considerable interest in the subject, it would be gratifying to him to learn that the Government plan on the subject was matured, and his right hon. Friend proposed to take the opportunity of bringing in the necessary Bills some time before the approaching assizes.
