§ MR. WALPOLEI rise, Sir, to ask the noble Lord the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs a question on a subject of very great interest, whether he has received any official intimation of an armistice which is said to have been agreed on between France and Austria?
§ LORD JOHN RUSSELLThe only information I have is in substance the same as that which appeared in the Moniteur of yesterday—that an armistice has been made between the Emperor of the French and the Emperor of Austria. I have no further information on the subject.
