House informed, that the Committee had unanimously determined— That Major Gavin is duly elected a Citizen to serve in this present Parliament for the County of the City of Limerick. And the said Determination was ordered to be entered in the Journals of this House.

House further informed, that the Committee had unanimously agreed to the following Resolutions:— That certain riotous and tumultuous proceedings took place at and after the Election for the said City; but that it was not proved to the Committee that such proceedings took place at the instigation or with the sanction of Major Gavin or his Agents. That no application was made to the Returning Officer for an adjournment of the Poll in consequence of such proceedings, and that it was not proved to the Committee that they were of such a duration or of such character as to prevent the votes of the Electors from being recorded.
