NICOLLsaid, he would beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government 2305 to lay upon the table of either House the long-promised Bill to amend the law relating to bankruptcy and insolvency, so that Members may have an opportunity to consider the same during the recess.
THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERI believe, Sir, it is the intention of the Lord Chancellor to introduce such a Bill this Session in the House of Lords, but of course not with the intention of proceeding further with it at present.
