Gentleman the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the dreadful explosion at the Firework Manufactories in the Westminster Road, and whether he proposes to introduce any measure to prevent the manufacture of dangerous substances within a certain distance of inhabited houses.

WALPOLEsaid, that his attention had been called, and was now directed to the subject of the late accident in the Westminster Road, arising from the manufacture of fireworks: but he had not yet had time to determine whether any, and if so what, legislative measure should be introduced on the subject.
