§ In answer to Mr. COWAN,
§ LORD ELCHOsaid, he did not propose to introduce during the present Session any Bill for the purpose of abolishing tolls levied at turnpikes and bridges in Scotland. He hoped, however, to be in a position to do so at the commencement of the ensuing Session.
